What's Provided

We offer self-catering holiday accommodation and that means that you cater for yourselves. As an agency we do not own the properties, they are owned by individual owners and these places are often their own holiday homes/second homes which they use for their own holidays and let them when they are not using them. They are managed and run by themselves and their house keepers and between them they decide what to provide and leave for guests use. Holiday Home Hunter act mainly as their holiday letting agent. We can make suggestions but ultimately, they make the decision on what is supplied. Generally, you will find the following items are provided but this is not a definitive list and therefore should not be relied upon entirely:
  • One loo roll for each loo.
  • A hand towel and bath towel per person  (except Summer Breeze House who charge extra for them if required and Cliffside Garden Apartment who don’t provide them at all)  (not to be taken to the beach)
  • Squirty soap by each basin
  • One fresh J Cloth
  • One washing up sponge or brush
  • 2 x dishwasher tabs to get you started (if there is a dishwasher)
  • One oven glove
  • Some washing up liquid if left by last guest
  • 2 x tea towels
  • Squirty soap by each basin and 1 x bin bag or black sack to get you started
  • 1 x bin bag or black sack to get you started
Anything else is a bonus and some leave other things but we as agents are not able to tell you what each individual owner provides. Please note that the owners are not obliged to leave anything at all as they provide “self-catering” accommodation so what they do leave is a kind gesture to their guests.
Remember to book your cancellation cover. Did you know that your holiday booking is a legally binding contract? That means you could be liable for the full cost of the holiday if something unexpected forced you to cancel. Especially if you cancel at the last minute.
